Apple & Cranberry Crumble (Dairy + Refined Sugar + Gluten Free)

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut sugar
  • 4-5 granny smith apples(can sub other apples)
  • 6 ounces cranberries(half a bag)
  • 1tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3tablespoons orange juice(can sub lemon juice)
  • 1/2cup old fashioned oats
  • 2/3cup almond flour
  • 1/4cup vegan butter(or coconut oil)
  • 1/8cup crushed pecans or walnuts
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  1. Slice apples into thin slices and chop cranberries.
  2. Mix apples, cranberries, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a cup of the coconut sugar and spread in an oiled backing dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix oats, almond flour, nuts, and the last 1/2 cup of coconut sugar. Add vanilla and vegan butter and work into the dry mixture to make crumbles.
  4. Spread topping onto apple and cranberry mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Recipe Notes

I used my food processor to chop the fruit. Just use the slicing tool if you have one for the apples.

I used a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and the crumble came out to be about one inch thick. If you want your crumble to be thicker, use a smaller dish.
